The Paper Moon: A Drive-In Puppet Show
When: Every Fri/Sat/Sun of July
Where: The Isthmus Park
Details: Please Read!
In response to these changing times, String and Shadow has been devising ways to bring live-theater to the Olympia community while adhering to social-distancing guidelines. Every weekend of July we will be performing a brand-new giant puppet show in the Isthmus Park parking lot downtown. Audience members are invited to watch from their vehicles and tune in to the audio via their car radio or smartphone (using live-stream technology.)
Beginning Friday 7/17, we will no longer be allowing outdoor seating at the Drive-In puppet show. We ask that all attendees come in their vehicles and wear masks while interacting with our parking attendants.
This show is great for kids and adults alike, so bring the whole family!
There is no pre-sale for this show and all tickets are by donation and first come first serve. You are welcome to arrive early to ensure getting a spot! We will post a "Lot-Full" sandwich board at the entrance to the parking lot when we have reached capacity.
We will have a donation bucket at the "door", but online donations are accepted and encouraged.
ALL FRIDAY AND SATURDAY SHOWS: Arrive at Dusk, Show begins at Sunset.
ALL SUNDAY SHOWS begin at 7pm.
This show is sponsored in part by the PARC foundation of Thurston County. To sponsor String and Shadow and support the arts in Olympia, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
