The Paper Moon: A Drive-In Puppet Show

When: Every Fri/Sat/Sun of July

Where: The Isthmus Park

Details: Please Read!

In response to these changing times, String and Shadow has been devising ways to bring live-theater to the Olympia community while adhering to social-distancing guidelines. Every weekend of July we will be performing a brand-new giant puppet show in the Isthmus Park parking lot downtown. Audience members are invited to watch from their vehicles and tune in to the audio via their car radio or smartphone (using live-stream technology.)

Assuming Olympia has entered Phase 3, there will be - very -limited seating in the front for folks to bring their own chairs. We would prefer to reserve this option for folks who do not have a vehicle and plan to bike or walk to the show. We will be marking out socially distanced spots for individuals or households to occupy. We ask that anyone outside of their vehicles wear a mask and be respectful of keeping a safe distance from others. Please wear a mask when interacting with our "door" volunteers from your vehicle. We want this to be a safe and enjoyable experience for all!

This show is great for kids and adults alike, so bring the whole family!

There is no pre-sale for this show and all tickets are by donation and first come first serve. You are welcome to arrive early to ensure getting a spot! We will post a "Lot-Full" sandwich board at the entrance to the parking lot when we have reached capacity.

We will have a donation bucket at the "door", but online donations are accepted and encouraged.

ALL FRIDAY AND SATURDAY SHOWS: Arrive at Dusk, Show begins at Sunset.

ALL SUNDAY SHOWS begin at 7pm.
